What's Inside?
some sample content

Dear Reader, you may remember in Jane Eyre, just how much pleasure portraiture and imaginative paintings gave our favourite Brontë heroine.
Here, in this scrapbook, you will find them all, displayed alongside memorabilia from her story in beautiful scrapbook collages.
Reader ... do you recall the delicate miniature Jane painted of the accomplished lady of rank, Blanche Ingram ... then compared it to her chalked self portrait as a Governess, disconnected, poor, and plain ...
... remember those three enigmatic watercolours in Jane's portfolio that Edward Rochester quizzed her about?
Above: the miniature of Blanche Ingram and one of the three watercolours from Jane's portfolio.
Below: a spread all about Bessie.

Later in the book Jane illustrates two of the songs she remembers Bessie singing - The Days we went a-Gyspying and The Poor Orphan Child.
Below: Jane Rochester's illustration of Bessie's song, The Days we went a-Gyspying; the 10-year-old Jane Eyre's luggage tag for her journey to the Lowood Institution;  a pressed flower from the new garden at Ferndean Manor, where she lives with Edward Rochester.

Jane has, at last, let light into the ragged garden at Ferndean Manor, and planted there the same flowers that grew at the Lowood Institution.  She has made a memorial garden. The flowers have been cut and pressed to make pages dedicated to her Lowood friends' memories.
Thrill as Jane speaks to us once more through her notes, pictures and memorabilia in this richly illustrated scrapbook.
A large format publication, 21.5 x 28cm trim size with 84 glorious full-colour pages.
Come and walk once more, through the world of Charlotte Brontë's classic novel, Jane Eyre.
